still stuck

i finally got to paint for Tala (Ayo's Sister) last week. she's been asking for a painting for years now. i had to work all night last sunday so i could finish it right away because most of the paintings i leave unfinished stay unfinished. iv got three unfinished paintings stocked behind my bed, all of them iv already out grown. i tried to finish one of them but i gave up again. some of the portions of the painting have become too thick due to too many layers of paint. i change the color scheme each time i try to re-paint it. (^^); anyways....back to the oil painting for Tala, i can't decide which fixative i should use. iv got four kinds of varnish here. (1) cheap clear gloss varnish [smudges the paint and destroys the brush] (2) Extra-fine Dammar Pictue Varnish [havn't tried this one. i can't open the bottle](3) Damar Spray Varnish [feels grainy when sprayed on a surface...weird] (4) Kamar Spray Varnish [out of the three kinds, this is the best one....but Ayo wants me to junk it coz its says on the label: WARNING: THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS CHEMICALS KNOWN TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO CAUSE BIRTH DEFECTS AND OTHER REPRODUCTIVE HARM. hmmmmmmmm.....maybe the right one is the bottle that wont open. grrr. ayaw talaga e!..... or maybe the grainy varnish. i don't know. gaaaa. i have to protect the painting as soon as possible. it's been smudged all week. i wake up and the painting is not where i put it. its probably our help....or my sister. fek.

this is not the whole painting. i don't have a decent shot of it yet. wala paring title. *sigh* anyways......i used aya-katoish florals and jewels. it's a bit halloweenish too...i think. warm heavy colors. hope she likes it.

ranting again because my legs have not yet healed completely. i still see tiny dark spots. it's because of the allergic reaction to Veet Wax. you guys shouldv seen my legs at the peak of the reaction. oh god scary. measles spots times ten in number. i had to take five pills every morning for a week to stop the histamine from spreading. im allergic to a lot of things. Sharks fin, Henna, Hair Color, and now Veet.

to those of you who like Korean food, check out the Korean resto at the Royal Place near Ever Commonwealth. They serve really good Kimchi Gae. It's like sinigang....with kimchi. yum! and i love their fried rice with minced potatoes. i know its double carbs but it's really good. *droool if you want dessert, go to the second floor of the building. there's a darling cake shop there. they serve tea in cute teapots and cups. ^o^*
