gear up boy

im so so tired. Iv been workin all day. Its hard pala when u don’t have help in the house. I don’t get to study (I mean I don’t get to think about studying anymore). our first major plate for this sem is a Hospitel (hospital + hotel—for Medical Tourism) to be submitted next next week and iv done no research yet. So scary. zero school work done for this two-day typhoon break. I think about that between doing the dishes and the laundry. Shmuck. What I don’t like doing is cleaning the bedrooms. i mean it’s ok if I had to arrange or rearrange stuff everyday……but the dust wiping…floor cleaning…noooooooo. Im allergic to dust, I hate it. At hindi ko kaya gumamit ng bunot. I have really bad foot coordination. No dancing, no bunot. I just use my hands….or have my brother do it. >:D
but im quite glad I know how to do house work now. It’s my first time learning to use the washing machine. so easy, I love it!
I also like working in the kitchen. I can cook (but my Ayo is way, way better than me...mwah!). I like preparing food. Masarap lang kasi magkalat. Chop this…dice that….but no peeling. I almost peeled off my thumb once. At nagka major sugar burn na pala ako….resulting into super fugly scars. Pero masaya parn magluto. Its nice to look into your panrty and find everything you need for cooking. To those of you who also like the kitchen, I recommend that you read the book “Like Water for Chocolate” by Laura Esquivel. Spicy and sexy! Whohooo! Ayo gave me a copy for my 16th birthday (nanliligaw palang yan a….humihirit na! hehe love you hon). Read it guys. Masaya pramis.

We had a seminar in school about Architecture and Italian Design last, last week (I think). Ana Barbara of NABA was our speaker…she’s really good. Her lecture was very insightful. It made me want to do a lot more things….besides architecture. When I grow up and become a prominent architect **(-.-)** I would like to go into the fashion industry. I’d probably design sports wear--- Technology in fashion. Why? because It’s the future. Sports wear will be street fashion, school uniforms, formal wear and so on.
We’ll have key pads on our sleeves, shirts with juice pouches, or stylish gowns with cooling gel inside to keep us comfortable…maybe a watch with an mp2000 player or whatever. Ang dami talaga. There’s this Italian guy who designs pasta to cars. Omfg. Omfg talaga. Ang galling nya. Gusto ko rin. I want to design furniture, cars, soda bottles, and toasters. Dapat kasi talaga maging versatile tayong lahat. Mas sasaya ang buhay diba. ^0^
Part of Ana Barbara’s lecture was about doing more things. Like cooking, writing….if you write good text, and cook good food, maybe you can make good architecture(Miki)/film(Ayo) as well. And so I do. Cooking, cleaning, selling polo shirts, taking photos, going out with Ayo…things that I love and have learned to love doing. I don’t want to be too grade-conscious. My pathetic excuse….pero kasi I don’t want to miss out on other things. I want to get to do these other stuff that are also important to me. Thinking, having good tea, doodling, going to the grocery (for nothing really…just pushing carts and checking out products), making bracelets and robot keychains, collecting junk (cute soda cans and bottles) eclavou. Basta go lang ng go! I wish people could just keep working. I wish we didn’t have to lose energy of feel tired. Imagine an accumulated amount of time of 20++ years for sleeping. Life is just too short to be spent like that. Pero sabagay masarap din matulog.
Another good feeling we experience every day…every three days for some of us. I like sleeping at dawn. It feels different when you see the sky slowly lighting up. That part of the day when you see a lot of contrast in the horizon. So pretty. Plus I get to miss the afternoon. Its my down time kasi. I prefer to work at night or in the morning. happy times pag dusk til dawn!
