running out of time

i need to raise funds for a new scanner. i plan to make embellished purses, then sell them in school maybe. hmmmmm would anyone buy if they're priced at 40 to 80 pesos? (very very long way to go before i reach my quota) i want those purses to look like the shirts in greyhounds kasi. i bought kolayful zippers already. and iv got all the beads and DMC threads i need. i'm just waiting for my katya cloth. the whole bag is missing! where are u katya?? come back to me!!!

i just made my first attempt of tracing my face with adobe illustrator. the rendered drawing sucked. i'll try again tomorrow...maybe. for the meantime, you guys are just gonna have to settle with the raw tracing. heehee

Art homework

Here's some of the details of my supposed Art Class Homework, Angelus Ex Machina.

I painted my Angelus Ex Machina piece for the exhibit but since no one seemed to like it, I just scrapped it and re-work on a newer piece of Angelus. This time, instead of a girl, he'll be carrying a HUGE gear. His wings will now be completely made up of gears and the wing plate with the matching hazard chevron wil be scrapped. I'm also planning to give him a gas mask instead of an ambiguous face. That'll scare the living daylights of them kids! harharhar

And here's another watercolor homework. I didn't know what to paint so I watched some TV. I saw Giuadda de Laurenti (not sure of the spelling), the girl from Everyday Italian. So I tried to copy her but the work is a bit cartoonish. Kinda reminiscent of Kiera Knightley as Elizabeth from Pirates of the Carribean. Well, thats just me. Hohoho

Anyway, thats all I have for now.

i'll make it up to you, i promise

after our classes, ayo and i met up in katipunan yesterday night. i gave him his super uber late late late birthday gift which *ahem* i hope he will be posting soon. if i may say my excuses, there were really many stressful delays to that. i had chicken pox during my finals week so i had to take my make up tests the following week. after that my mom asked me to work on their company profile which took about another week. after all that i finally got to paint, but when i was half way done with the painting, i suddenly hated it. i just had to make another one. and so i did. after yet another week, i finally brought the new painting to the frame shop, but it stayed there longer than it should. they couldn't get it right(oh that annoying lesbian witch). yesterday was the final pick up day.

ANYWAYS enough about that.....after having dinner, we went to mag.net cafe to see the opening night of the exhibit entitled Painting in Progress. 'twas a pretty good show. my former teacher, brendan, documented the making of the paintings. cool cool. but we had to head home early 'coz i was feeling feverish. and ayo still had to do his homework. so there.

i actually got these babies about a month ago. i went with some friends to this ukay place in anonas. 'twas pretty hard to find really nice clothes, but i must say there were many adorable toys. *( ^o^)*

First Knight

Well, I was doing my Andrew Ty paper and had a stroke of brilliance.
"Hm, makapag-Photoshop nga!"
Hahaha so then there. I took a picture of myself, layed it over with about 50 layers, cut out the background and replaced it with ADMU soccer field. Added shadows and highlights, filters, flattened it and then used curves. Well, looks a bit video gamish to me but oh what the heck.

It was suppose to be an angelic knight but I couldn't fit the wings in. So I scrapped the wings and just made it to look like LOTR's Soldier of Minas Tirith. But I decided to add a sky blue plume and it ended up looking like a High Elf soldier from Warhammer Fantasy. hahaha

Kinda looks celshaded huh?

Well, since wala pa akong bagong artworks, I'll just perform maintenance for the blog. Like fixxing links (hehehe joke lng miki!) and adding little gubbins here and there!

Haaaay magaayos ako ng pc later when Pael gets home with my new Windows Xp. my old hard drive's kneeling na eh. Gotta fix my pc asap coz i might get a contract (a non-paying one) from ACOMM to make the ACOMM ORSEM video! hooooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooohooooooot!
